MAY THE 4TH BE WITH US! (And we mean it!)
Rumor has it: « May the Force be with you », but here at the LiJM, we’d rather say « May the 4th be with you »!
Our brilliant 4ème and 3ème LCE students, proudly led by Mrs. Bamba, recently took part in the Born 2 Speak National Dictation Contest, and they absolutely crushed it! After an on-site selection, more than 20 of our students qualified for the grand finale… and they made a total clean sweep!
They proudly won the first 4 places on the national podium! A historical domination celebrated first at the Azalea Hotel of Abidjan, and then right here at the LiJM with a special ceremony in the presence of Mr. Javel and Mr. Magassouba, the contest organizer. Congratulations to our grand winner and all participants for these amazing prizes and certificates!
But wait, there is more! David vs. Goliath Style… Also guided by the amazing Mrs. Bamba, our unstoppable 4ème students made it all the way to the national finale of the Génies en Herbe Quiz! They fought like lions and only bowed down in the final round against… Terminale students! Facing high schoolers four years older than them didn’t scare our competitors, who proved that knowledge knows no age. What an heroic journey!
We are incredibly proud of our students for making the LiJM shine at the highest national level. You are true champions!
